Instructor Spotlight: Lauren Nestler

Here’s our instructor spotlight on Lauren Nestler, who loves helping people have fun while they work out. She’s a fitness instructor at our Santa Barbara Downtown, Santa Barbara Uptown & Goleta locations. Lauren is a positive, encouraging instructor who loves to make members’ days through fitness class fun. She’s been a part of Gold’s since January of 2013, and we’re so glad to have her.

Why She Loves Gold’s:

I love Gold’s because the members are so friendly and welcoming. Gold’s is my second home.

Her Specialty at the Gym:

Group fitness! I teach TurboKick, PiYo, Cize, Kickboxing with Bags and Bootcamp! 

Her Goals with Members:

My goal is to make working out fun. I want the hour that we spend together to be the highlight of your day and I want you to carry that positive feeling with you when you leave the gym.

Fun Facts about Lauren:

  • Says “WOO!” at least 10 times a class (Woo!)
  • Recommends Gold’s newcomers take classes and try something new
  • Favorite fitness move is doing burpees
  • Top song for getting pumped is Greyhound by Swedish House Mafia
  • Likely to be found wearing Golden State Warriors workout pants
  • Loves running the stadiums at Santa Barbara City College
  • Always drinks coffee in the AM
