Over 32 years ago, entrepreneur brothers Willy and Angel Banos set out to start a new venture into the fitness industry. Wanting to take the Gold's Gym brand to higher levels, the Banos brothers set their eyes on North Hollywood. Opened in 1988, this gym is Gold's Gym SoCal's first gym and known as our "mecca." Designed for a serious workout and hardcore fitness fans, this gym is our ultimate throwback to the old school gym atmosphere.
