MEET BRIAN HILPERT OF GOLD'S GYM GLENDALE

Brian Hilpert is GOLD'S FIT and GOLD'S BURN head coach from Gold’s Gym Glendale. A natural born athlete, Brian was destined to work in the fitness industry. He is passionate about helping people transform their lives for the better.

Brian is highly supportive and motivates his clients. He focuses all his sessions on the belief that in order to do better, you must get out of your comfort level. Read more to get to know Brian a little better.

Get to know BRIAN

Where are you from? I am from San Dimas, California.

What classes do you teach? I teach GOLD'S FIT and GOLD'S BURN.   

Have you worked out with any notable people? I have worked out with a Bruce Irvin, formerly a Seatle Seahawk, when I played football. I have also worked out with a few professional bodybuilders and a few semi pro football players.

What is your favorite healthy/cheat meals? My favorite cheat meal or go-to meal is Blaze Pizza.

How long have you been teaching fitness classes? I have been teaching fitness classes at Gold's Gym Glendale for over a year.

Why do you love what you do? I love what I do because I have the ability to positively impact the lives of people everyday. I get to meet people and learn about how I can help them become better versions of themselves.

What is something that no one knows about you? I can quote or sing the whole Mulan movie.

How do you motivate people who hit a fitness plateau? Our classes are built to be scalable for people so pushing people through encouraging words and making them do more weight or more reps is what I do everyday.

What do you like to do outside of working at Gold's? I love coaching football.

Do you have any hidden talents? I can play the drums.

If you weren't a trainer, what job would you like to have and why? If I wasn't a trainer, I would love to be a head football coach because I would still have the ability to improve peoples everyday lives and also get to do something I love.
